My practice moves between performance, installation, and video works, discussing socio economic subjects through a queer-feminist and posthuman lens.

Currently, I explore Mermaiding, the performing and moving with a mermaid tail, as a form of trans-species embodiment and a queer and sensuous intelligence. Here I actively play with constructions of femininity. and species boundaries.​

 

Building on earlier research on how to resist post-Fordist modes of cultural production, my work continues to engage with questions of labour, representation, and pleasure through strategies that foster ambivalence, including over-identification. In these performances, irony and desire coexist, opening critical spaces that challenge normative ways of knowing and being.

My transdisciplinary practice positions performance as a site where humour, critique, and ecological awareness intertwine, creating worlds that are both critical and enchanting.
